Code of ethics
Every Tantra Clinic practitioner — staff, contractor, or directory member (Phase 3) — agrees to the following code of ethics as a condition of working with us.
1. Consent first
Every practice, every session, every interaction is opt-in, granular, and revocable. No participant is ever pressured into a practice they have not affirmatively chosen.
2. No sexual contact between practitioner and participant
Tantra Clinic practitioners do not have sexual contact of any kind with current or recently-former participants in any of our programs or sessions. This is non-negotiable. Sacred Intimate or Surrogate Partner work is a separate clinical category we do not offer.
3. Trauma-informed defaults
All practices are designed and delivered with trauma-prevalence in mind. We offer trauma-aware variations on every practice that could be activating.
4. Honesty about scope
We do not present tantra as a medical treatment, a substitute for therapy, or a guaranteed outcome. We are honest about what tantra can and cannot do.
5. Cultural respect
We name lineages honestly. We do not invent ancient practices that did not exist. We honor the Hindu, Buddhist, and Daoist sources of much of our practice without reducing those traditions to ornament.
6. Mandated reporting
Where practitioners are bound by mandated reporting requirements (e.g. for child abuse disclosures), they comply.
7. Complaints process
If you have experienced harm in any Tantra Clinic program or session, contact safeguarding@tantra.clinic. We commit to acknowledging within 48 hours and a full response within 14 days.
